Have you noticed shelves with latex paint tend to stick to objects placed on them? I used my left over Minwax Wipe-On Poly on all the shelves in the bathroom for extra protection against wet stuff and to remove the latex sticky factor.

That's an interesting fix. I'd be interested to know how that holds up. I finally stopped using latex on anything but walls. Oil holds up so much better on trim and shelving. Oil also sands out better when it's time to touch up and repaint (latex just gums up when sanded). Anyway... I really enjoy reading your posts and appreciate your eye for quality work.
What a great idea!
